Labor Agreements (MOUs)
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) is the labor agreement between the District and the union that represents a group of employees. It sets wages, benefits and working conditions, and it takes effect only after the union’s members ratify it and the Board of Directors approves it.
The District’s office and operations employees are represented by the International Union of Operating Engineers, Stationary Local No. 39. The signed MOUs from the last five years are posted below, newest first. Each MOU includes its salary schedule.
