Chester Firewise is participating in the Wildfire Community Preparedness Day. This even will start at 9:00am at the Chester Public Utility District parking lot. Then we will proceed to 2 different homes to create some defensible space. After the clean up we will head to Chester Park for a free lunch to all participants. We plan on being done by 1:00pm.
Please bring rakes, pruners, shovels, gloves.
If you are planning on help please RSVP 530 228 9611. If you can't join us please work on your defensible space at your home. For more information about defensible space check out www.firewise.org or the firewise site on this web page.
Keep track of the hours spent cleaning your property and the dollars spent. Those can be reported at the CPUD office so Chester Firewise can update their report.
